"Vice Governor Felício Ramuth receives Walter Afonso, Director of the Brazil-Netherlands BraiNet Hub Program."

      On February 21, 2025, the Vice Governor of the State of São Paulo, Felicio Ramuth, received the director of the BraiNports Hub (Brazil-Netherlands BraiNet Hub Program) at the Palácio dos Bandeirantes. Also present were Professors Drs. Elbert Macau and Cláudia Granito from Unifesp, specialists in Science and Technological Innovation, along with Ing. Flavio D. Afonso.

      Walter Afonso presented the Brazil-Netherlands BraiNet Hub project—simply known as BraiNports Hub—to the Vice Governor, who was impressed by the insights into the Netherlands’ innovation landscape. He expressed his full support for the program and offered several valuable suggestions to ensure its sustained growth and success.

      Professor Dr. Elbert Macau from Unifesp emphasized the program's excellence and committed to working on convincing Fapesp to launch a call for proposals aimed at promoting the exchange of Brazilian professionals to the Netherlands.

      With the Vice Governor's recommendations in hand, we are now ready to begin the second phase of consolidating the program.
